FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast

Some Saharan dust is still making its way across the Houston area bringing slightly drier air and lower humidity. That means no heat alerts once again with heat index values staying below 108. Air quality is also in a decent moderate zone which should not be a problem for most folks. The big problem will be the increasing heat and humidity over the coming days with a stretch of triple digits likely starting this weekend and lasting through much of next week. Humidity will gradually increase as well with heat alerts likely returning by Sunday or Monday. Isolated rain will stick around through Saturday but even our low rain chances go away Sunday and Monday as the heat dome gets closer. So stay safe in the heat and grab out FOX 26 Weather App to keep track of the latest alerts and radar updates!
