Tropical Weather Update - July 27, 2023

It's another day without any heat alerts thanks to our slightly lower humidity. But the temperatures are hot enough and it's about to get hotter! Look for isolated rain & thunder through early evening and again Friday PM. Saharan dust remains in the area but our air quality remains in the moderate category. That means most of you should not be affected since we are not at the unhealthy level. Rain chances drop to 10% Saturday and go away completely Sunday and Monday. The heat dome will push closer to us this weekend and intensify causing another stretch of triple digits temperatures. In fact, heat advisories are likely to return by Sunday and Monday.
