1-year since Roderick Brooks' death

The family of Roderick Brooks will hold a candlelight vigil Saturday night, marking one year since he was shot and killed by a Harris County deputy. The shooting happened on July 8, 2022, as a deputy sergeant Garrett Hardin tried to detain Brooks as a suspected shoplifter.
