Houston Weather: Another round of showers, storms

Get ready for another round of showers and storms today and again tomorrow. Most of the rain will fall between noon and 5 p.m. and 1-2" is possible on both days. In the longer term, high pressure will slide closer to us beginning Friday and a bona fide heat wave is likely to resume this weekend through next week.
