Partly cloudy, hot and humid with isolated afternoon storms

This week marks a complete pattern chance for Texas with high pressure gone (for a few days) and an unsettled pattern in place. Look for a more active summertime pattern with daily highs in the mid-90s, and lots of humidity, but with the addition of scattered storms each day. The highest coverage of rain is expected on Wednesday and Thursday, but mainly afternoon storms are also possible today and tomorrow for the 4th.
