Heat Advisory has been extended once again for Houston and surrounding areas until 7 PM Saturday. That means heat index values of 105-110 are likely which will keep us in the dangerous category. The heat will become a bit less intense through the next week as the pattern finally changes. Look for a few more clouds and isolated rain by Sunday. Spotty showers & storms are expected during the afternoon Monday & Tuesday. More widespread showers and storms are in the forecast Wednesday through Friday as temperatures drop back closer to normal for this time of the year.
