Bentley's Law
The cost of driving drunk and killing someone just got steeper in the lone star state. Advocates call it "Bentley?s law - and it demands that those responsible for killing innocent parents in DWI accidents - pay monthly support to the minor children they've orphaned. Those responsible for killing parents in cases of intoxication manslaughter must begin paying support to their kids no later than one year after leaving jail. Texas becomes the second state to adopt "Bentley?s Law" following Tennessee.
