Houston Weather: Excessive Heat Warning extends to Wednesday

Excessive Heat Warning has been extended for Houston and many surrounding areas until 8 PM Wednesday. Heat Index values of 108-116 will be likely. Heat Advisory will be in place through 8 PM Wednesday for Liberty, Polk, San Jacinto, Coastal Jackson & Coastal Matagorda counties. It also includes the Matagorda Islands & Brazoria Islands. Heat index values here could get up to around 110 tomorrow. Temperatures will climb close to triple digits again Wednesday. But the weather pattern will make a slight shift to allow a few more showers and storms Wednesday through Friday. So that means we'll be a bit less hot on Thursday & Friday.
