Hotter weather to close out first week of June with spotty showers
Spotty storms are once again breaking out during the heating of the day. Brief heavy rain, frequent lightning & gusty winds will be possible through early tonight. Most of the storms should fade a few hours after sunset. The air quality alert has also been extended until Thursday evening. A hotter and drier weather pattern returns for a few days which will mean temperatures in the low 90s Thursday through Saturday with very limited rain. That will be a great time to squeeze in some pool or park time. But make sure to wear sunscreen with a high UV index likely. Upper low returns early next week which will mean a return to more storms Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
