Spotty rain storms tonight, more possible Wednesday evening but less widespread
Our Ozone Action Day is back for Wednesday with another Air Quality Alert being issued for Harris, Brazoria & Galveston counties. That means air quality will be in the unhealthy for sensitive groups category and you may want to reduce your amount of time outdoors if you have respiratory issues. Otherwise, look for spotty rain and storms through early tonight, gradually fading. Storms may produce some very heavy rain in a short period of time along with some small hail & gusty winds. Lightning is also a hazard. So remember when thunder roars, head indoors! Storms are still possible Wednesday PM but will be less widespread. The trend for Thursday and Friday will be more heat and less rain as high pressure tries to build in. This will be short-lived though as storm chances creep back up again Sunday through next Tuesday.
