Houston weather: Mostly cloudy, muggy Friday; few showers possible

One step outside and you'll feel the major return of Houston humidity. For Cinco de Mayo and this busy weekend, expect much warmer air and much higher humidity with only isolated showers or a possible storm. The term "heat index" is also back in the forecast with the feel like values reaching the mid 90s at times. A better chance for rain and thunderstorms is expected for mid to late next week.
