Sticky mornings and steamy afternoons are on the way for the rest of this week and even into next week! Look for some patchy fog early Thursday before temperatures soar to the middle 80s by the afternoon. There will also be a return to spotty showers & maybe an isolated storm. Friday will bring a 30% chance for spotty rain and maybe even a few strong storms Friday night. The best chance for any stronger storms appears to be after 10 PM. Low storm chances hang around, mainly during the afternoon and evening until the middle of next week. The heat and humidity will keep building with heat index values still expected to be near 100 Friday and Saturday. Remember not to leave kids or pets in a hot car and drink plenty of water and take breaks if you have to work outside.
