The threat of waves of heavy rain and flooding will persist through early Saturday. The heaviest rain will likely fall Thursday and Friday. 3-6" of rain will be possible through Saturday morning. So stay alert, avoid flooded areas, and make sure to grab the FOX 26 Weather app for the latest forecasts and advisories. A cold front will stall tonight to our south and help to trigger more waves of rain over the next few days. It will be cooler Thursday and Friday with high temperatures only in the 60s. We start to dry out by Saturday afternoon with only an isolated shower possible for Easter Sunday. Warmer weather returns next week with the 80s by Monday.
