Houston weather: Scattered daytime showers Thursday and highs in the upper 70s

Scattered showers and a very isolated storm are forecast for opening day of the Astros, as a warm front lifts north. It'll be breezy with a warming trend as we head into the weekend and continue the opening series. Saturday remains the better of the two weekend days for outdoor activities, with Palm Sunday featuring scattered storms. Early next week, plan for very humid mornings and highs near 90 in the afternoons.
