Trail Ride in honor of Arlene Alvarez, 9-year-old killed a year ago

A Trail Ride in southeast Houston today honored 9-year-old Arlene Alvarez who was killed a year ago when a man shot at her family's truck. Dozens of people rode on horseback for three hours starting on Fuqua Street. The community also assembled a market with local vendors, a petting zoo, music, food, and more. The event served as a reminder to Arlene's family who is still fighting for justice.
