Quiet, cool Thursday evening in the 50s
Two additional tornadoes were confirmed today from Tuesday's tornado outbreak. We already had confirmation of an EF-3 tornado in SE Harris County with peak winds of 140 mph. But two additional tornadoes were confirmed around Needville-Thompsons and Pearland that were rated EF-0. Peak wind speed in both of these tornadoes ended up being 70 mph. High pressure will keep us quiet and dry tonight with light wind. It will be a chilly start Friday in the 30s for most before climbing to the low 60s Friday afternoon. More clouds Friday will lead to rounds of showers Saturday. Heavy rain and storms are expected with a cold front Sunday. Weather pattern stays unsettled through much of next week.
