Saturday night leading into Sunday morning weather forecast
After another round of heavy downpours, the focus shifts to whether or not we'll see more rain for the rest of the Labor Day weekend. The forecast is not an easy one, but odds are we will see less areal coverage of rain for Sunday and Labor Day, with the chance for locally heavy rain still with us, especially south of Houston. Next week, we expect a daily round of scattered showers and storms with seasonably warm and humid air in between. In the tropics, Tropical Storms Danielle and Earl will stay far away from Texas, but Earl may bring some brief rain and wind to the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
