HOUSTON - NFL sources confirmed the Houston Texans released tight end Garrett Graham on Thursday.
The move is not a surprise since Graham was inactive for the final nine games of the 2016 season, including the loss to Kansas City in the playoffs.
Graham, who was a fourth-round pick from Wisconsin in 2010, played six years with the Texans.
Last season he had four catches for 20 yards.
In 2014, Bill O’Brien’s first year with the Texans, Graham had 18 receptions for 197 yards and one touchdown.
Graham’s best season was in 2013 when he had 49 catches for 545 yards and five touchdowns.
