Woman killed in 2-vehicle crash in northeast Houston

Police say a woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash in northeast Houston early Monday morning.

Officers are conducting tests to determine if the driver of the other vehicle was intoxicated at the time of the crash.

According to the Houston Police Department, the driver of a silver SUV struck a red car near Market and McCarty around 12:30 a.m. Monday. A woman in the red car was pronounced dead at the scene.

Vehicular Crimes officers are continuing to investigate.
