Using video to tell a story is what we do for a living, but it's amazing when the video tells us so much. In the case of the horrible, fatal ambush of the Virginia TV crew on Wednesday morning, there were two cameras rolling.

One, was controlled by slain photographer Adam Ward, and the other controlled by the murderer, Vester Flanagan.

They are both too difficult to watch full length, but when you synchronize the videos during  the moments leading up to the shooting, it's obvious how calculated and cold-blooded Flanagan was. His own video shows how he aimed the gun at the reporter, Alison Parker, but didn't pull the trigger immediately. He waited until he knew she was live and on camera. The synchronized video illustrates the incident clearly.
