HOUSTON - Houston police say an 11-year-old girl called police reporting the disturbing scene.
According to police, around 2:45 a.m. Sunday, an 11-year-old child called police saying that her mother and father were involved in an argument which led to gunfire.
Officers arrived on scene and found a man and woman deceased inside an apartment unit in the 6400 block of West Bellfort in southwest Houston.
The child's grandmother also sustained a gunshot wound in the disturbance.
She was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.
Police say a firearm was found near the bodies.
Another child, was also located inside the residence. Investigators are reaching out to family members.
