NEW YORK (AP) — President-elect Donald Trump continues to signal a hard-tight turn for his tenure in office, choosing Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions for attorney general and Kansas Rep. Mike Pompeo to head the CIA. Both are staunch conservatives. SAN DIEGO (AP) - President-elect Donald Trump has rid himself of one major distraction as he prepares to take office. A civil lawsuit in which former customers of his now-defunct Trump University accused him of fraud has been settled for $25 million. About 7,000 students would be eligible for refunds if U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel approves the settlement. Under the terms, Trump admits no wrongdoing.
