Teen allegedly involved in deadly carjacking in Texas City surrenders during standoff

TEXAS CITY, Texas (FOX 26) - Police have found the person they believe to be responsible for a deadly shooting at an apartment complex after a standoff involving the suspect in Texas City.

Officers say the suspect has surrendered. 

Investigators say one person was shot and killed during a carjacking at an apartment complex on Medical Center Drive near the Emmett F. Lowry Expressway around 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to police, the suspect has been identified as a teen.
