    • Authorities say the suspect had fled from a traffic stop and drove home.

MISSION BEND, Texas - A suspect is in custody after a SWAT standoff at a home in Mission Bend on Monday afternoon.

What we know:

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the incident began when a man fled from a traffic stop and fled to a home on Mission Hills, near SH 6.

According to HCSO, the suspect lives near where the stop occurred, and he fled home.

It was a few hours before the suspect was taken into custody. Authorities say a K9 was deployed, but no injuries were reported. EMS was checking him out.
