FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) - FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) A law enforcement official says the suspect in the shooting rampage at the Fort Lauderdale, Florida, today told the FBI in November the government was controlling his mind and was forcing him to watch Islamic State group videos. The official says agents in Anchorage, Alaska, then called police who took 26-year-old Army veteran Esteban Santiago for a mental health evaluation. Five people were killed today and eight wounded. Santiago is in custody.
