HOUSTON - A South Houston building may be a total loss after catching fire on Wednesday afternoon.

What we know:
The fire happened at a building on Oregon Street near Galveston Road. The building was apparently being remodled when the fire started.
The Houston Fire Department was called to help the South Houston Fire Department shortly before 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Officials say they switched defensive response as the fire got out of control, but the flames were eventually put out.
No injuries have been reported, but officials say the building may be a total loss.
