HOUSTON, TX - Kids finally don’t have to stay up till midnight to celebrate the New Year. The celebration starts at the Children's Museum of Houston, located at 1500 Binz Street at 10 a.m. Monday, December 31st.
The Children’s Museum of Houston’s Rockin’ New Year’s Noon is the city’s longest-running New Year’s Eve celebration just for kids!
This end-of-year bash rings in the New Year at the stroke of noon with a parade and ball drop, just like in Times Square.
Interactive performances will spotlight this New Year’s Eve celebration complete with noon countdown, TWO simultaneous ball drops and DJ dance after party.
Special events include:
- Juggler Noah: A jaw-dropping, gravity-defying performance
- Magic by Jamie Salinas: Award-winning magician.
- DJ Duo Pre-Party: Cool sounds of DJ Tangerine or take it outside to DJ Mr. Duke.
- New Year’s Noon Parade led by High Steppers Brass Band: Rock into the New Year with jazzy tunes.
- Countdown and Simultaneous Ball Drops: Celebrate the New Year with a countdown to noon
- DJ After Party: Just because the ball has dropped, doesn’t mean the party is over
