The NFL's compensation committee will hold a conference call Monday to discuss commissioner Roger Goodell's most recent proposal on a contract extension, which some owners are reportedly balking at. ESPN reported that Goodell is seeking "about $49.5 million per year, as well as the lifetime use of a private jet and lifetime health insurance for his family," citing an anonymous source.
“That number for Roger just seems too much,” one unnamed owner told ESPN. “It’s offensive. It’s unseemly."
