In her Texas Medical Center Pulse magazine article titled "Foster care alumni help homeless dogs find forever families," assistant editor Cindy George shared how the DePelchin Children's Center Transitioning to Adulthood through Guidance and Support program, known as TAGS, not only tries to provide a stable environment for homeless young adults between the ages 18 and 22, but also allows those former foster children to "earn the privilege of caring for a foster dog" as a way to find homes for rescued animals.
