Just in time for the republican presidential debate, twitter says it will now help people make direct campaign contributions, via tweet. It's a partnership with mobile payment-processing company 'square'. Twitter says campaigns would tweet a link that they're calling a "cashtag".
People with a 'square' account could click on it and go to a site that lets them make a contribution through a debit card. But, no credit cards allowed.

Campaigns for Scott Walker, Bobby Jindal and John Kasich tweeted "cashtag" links.
