HOUSTON, TX - A disaster recovery center (DRC) is now open to help residents affected by Hurricane Harvey. The Tidwell Community center is open today until 6pm, and next week two other centers will be open, including the Richard and Meg Weekley Community Center and the Sagemont Community Center. FEMA along with the U.S. Small Business Administration are among the federal, state and local agencies that will be at the center to discuss options about assistance programs. The DRC is currently serving residents outside the Tidwell Community Center.
