In a room full of women, Monja Willis, also know for being James Harden's mother, and the non-profit 3 The Harden Way gave a lucky 13 rockin' single moms a holiday to remember. Each was handed extra large goodie baskets to start.

"I'm still kind of in shock about the whole situation. As single mother's, we don't often get appreciated very often, so it just feels really great to be recognized," says Latonya Washington.

"I was humbled and grateful for her thinking of me in this role, so I'm very appreciative of her for doing that," says Natasha Jackson.

To be selected, the ladies had to be nominated by someone they knew, who had to write a 150 word letter to Willis.

"This is the first round of our adventure, so we have four rounds and all of the rounds are a secret," says Willis.

"I heard that there was a relaxation round and I'm looking forward to a night with these lovely ladies," says Washington.

Jackson was one of the lucky ones that got selected and is raising two daughters all on her own, a 21 year old and a 14 year old.

"The rewarding thing is the compassion we have for one another, the bond, sharing our stories," Jackson says.

"So many of them have trials and tribulations that they are dealing with and I just want to reach out and let them know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel," Willis says.
