18-year-old killed after moving to Houston days ago from Louisiana: HPD

In northwest Houston, an 18-year-old was killed after recently moving to the area just two days ago, according to the Houston Police Department.

What we know:

Around 10:30 p.m. HPD and the Houston Fire Department responded to a shooting at 5050 Yale Street.

The male was found with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by HFD.

According to HPD Lieutenant Horelica, the 18-year-old just moved here from Louisiana.

Witnesses told police they heard several gunshots and saw a possible suspect they described as a Black male in a black hoodie leaving the area after the shooting.

Authoritues say a black sedan was also seen leaving the area.

What we don't know:

The identity the suspect is unknown.
