CLEVELAND, Texas (FOX 26) - A large alligator made its way onto Highway 59 in Cleveland, Texas, creating a traffic mess early Monday.
Police called trapper Chance Ward -- waking him up -- to come help capture the gator.
The police and fire departments stopped traffic and assisted so Ward could safely trap the creature.
It measured a whopping 11 feet, 6 inches!
"We safely placed the Gator on the flat bed of my truck and strapped him for the ride," Ward wrote on Facebook.
They named the dinosaur George.
With approval from the Game Warden, George has now been relocated to a safe place -- a lake 20 miles away from any highway.
