Houston shooting: 1 dead after shots fired on Heatherbrook

HOUSTON - Houston police are on the scene of a deadly shooting in southwest Houston on Friday.

Details are limited, but according to officials, shots were fired in the 5400 block of Heatherbrook near South Post Oak Road.

Lieutenant Crowson says an adult man was found shot at least one time. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Houston police are investigating the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact Houston Police or CrimeStoppers.
