HOUSTON - One person is dead and five others are in the hospital after two vehicles collided in a southeast Houston intersection early Friday morning.
What we know:
The crash occurred shortly after midnight at the intersection of Pierce Street and Hutchins Street.
Five people were in a Toyota Corolla, and the driver was the only person in a Dodge Charger.
Police say one vehicle was coming down Pierce Street and the other was traveling on Hutchins Street when they collided in the intersection.
All six people were taken to the hospital. A passenger in the Corolla died at the hospital. Another person was last reported to be in critical condition.
