HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Since January, Houston prosecutors have charged 178 people with illegal dumping and have investigated over 300 cases.
Harris County Constable Alan Rosen of Precinct 1 says this came with the help of security cameras, monitored by dispatchers at locations around the city.
Illegal dumping is classified as a misdemeanor or felony depending on the amount of material dumped.
