HOUSTON (FOX 26) -
Police say a driver was killed along Interstate 45 near downtown Houston after a tire flew off from a truck and struck a sport utility vehicle.
The accident was reported on the Gulf Freeway northbound lanes near the Pierce Elevated.
All Gulf Freeway northbound mainlanes are closed as a result of the death investigation.
