Today, April 13, is the last day to file a claim for Dollar General’s multimillion-dollar class action settlement.
Dig deeper:
The class action lawsuit accused Dollar General of having discrepancies between the prices of merchandise advertised on the shelves and what customers were getting charged at checkout.
The Pennsylvania Attorney General said in a news release in December, that Dollar General "failed more than 40 percent of pricing accuracy inspections between 2019 and 2023."
The other side:
The company has denied any wrongdoing, according to a USA Today report.
How much can consumers get?
By the numbers:
The settlement amount was $8.5 million.
Any consumers in the United States that paid more for items than was advertised on the price label while in store between Oct. 10, 2016, and Nov. 19, 2025, are eligible to file a claim.

There is a maximum of two overcharge claims per household.
