Remains found in southeast Houston are not human, HPD says

The remains reported in southeast Houston under a bridge are not human, according to the Houston Police Department.

According to preliminary information, HPD officers received a call around 8:40 a.m. about a body on Selinsky Road, just south of Airport Boulevard.

After investigating, police said it is not a human body in the water under a bridge.
