Body recovered from car submerged in Buffalo Bayou

Firefighters have recovered a body from a car that was submerged in a roadside bayou at 19300 Westheimer Parkway in West Houston.

The fatal crash was discovered around 8:30 a.m. Houston police say the man was driving when his car left the roadway and landed upside down in the bayou.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Hall and Officer D. Rodriguez reported:

No identifiable information was gathered related to the body found near George Bush Park on Westheimer Parkway. The investigation is continuing.
