The ICE at Discovery Green will reopen for the winter season on Saturday, Nov. 18 with a special event. Frostival will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 10 p.m. 

The opening of The ICE at Discovery Green powered by Green Mountain Energy will include the debut of the temporary art installation 'Hello, Trees! A Walking Serenade by Daily tous les jours.'
The annual park-wide celebration will feature a live performance by Bastrop-based band
The Peterson Brothers, ice-carving battles featuring Reverend Butter, interactive ice sculptures, music from DJ Caps and a beer garden with an ice bar.

The ICE at Discovery Green powered by Green Mountain Energy will open at 11 a.m. on Saturday
(weather permitting). Visitors who make a $20 contribution to the Discovery Green Conservancy will receive a hand-carved stein made of ice and a free craft beer or root beer from Saint Arnold Brewing Company. Advance online donations are encouraged by visiting bit.ly/donatestein.

Frostival is free for the public to attend.
