HOUSTON - A 32-year-old man died after crashing into a concrete pillar on Thursday morning, Houston police say.
The crash occurred around 9:35 a.m. in the 12000 block of the North Freeway service road.

Police say a man was driving a white Toyota Corolla at a high rate of speed when he left the roadway for unknown reasons. He then crashed into the pillar, authorities say.
He was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police say no other people or vehicles were involved in the crash.
The investigation continues.
