Pasadena firefighters rescued a kitten from a dangerous spot today when it became trapped behind the grill off a car.

A woman heard a cat around her car and discovered it had become trapped near the radiator. She drove to the Pasadena Station 6 and called 911. After 30 to 40 minutes, firefighters were able to free the kitten.

The kitten was taken to the Pasadena Animal Shelter. After 72 hours of quarantine, the kitten will be put up for adoption if the owner does not claim it.
