Houston-area weather forecast: May 2nd

Today is when our weather finally takes a turn and we have the opportunity to dry out. Rain will continue to exit the area this morning and the sun will likely shine later this afternoon. Highs today should reach the mid 80s. Monday will be even warmer as temperatures in Houston approach 90 degrees, possibly our warmest day so far this year. Our next rain chances arrives Tuesday.
