Houston-area weather forecast, August 16

Our hot weather pattern is finally beginning to change some as a weak cold front will be moving through the area. On Sunday, temperatures will soar into the upper 90s and low 100s with another heat advisory until 7PM. We might see some showers and storms as early as this evening with the front gradually bringing a reprieve to our hot weather as we kick off the work week.
