Wednesday afternoon weather forecast

Rainy weather is on the way for the first afternoon and evening of the new year as a disturbance moves in from the southwest. It should bring us a round of some rain beginning with light showers this afternoon and evening and then a few downpours possible overnight tonight through the first part of the day on Thursday. Weather should slowly start to clear out and become breezy on Friday followed by sunshine and a really nice looking weekend.?
