Forever a puppy

A purebred German Shepherd will forever be the size of a puppy due to a rare genetic condition. The 2-year-old named Ranger has pituitary dwarfism, it primarily affects German Shepherd but can also be present in other breeds. Ranger's owner said he was the runt of the litter, but he didn't expect him to stay so small. Dogs with this condition are more prone to health issues and typically have shortened lifespans, but Ranger's owner says he is happy and healtht and enjoys playing with her other two dogs.
