3 formers UH players involved in fatal crash

According to the police, an SUV traveling southbound at the intersection of Fannin and Pierce early Saturday morning was struck by another driver who ran a red light. The impact resulted in several individuals from both vehicles being ejected, and the car careening onto the sidewalk, claiming the life of a homeless man. Former U of H football player Jeffrey Lewis survived the crash but sustained injuries, currently hospitalized for treatment.
