Studying everything from passive vaping to construction site dust, a new 3D-printed model of the lungs is roaming Houston to see the effects of potentially dangerous aerosols on the lungs. UTHealth Houston researchers are digging into the effects of substances in the lungs through a system called the Mobile Aerosol Lung Deposition Apparatus (MALDA).
